Social Marketing Training for Managers and Decision Makers
WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:

Solving problems, especially in the environmental and public sector, has focused time, expertise and funding on engineering and infrastructure solutions. These investments have not been matched with an equally systematic approach and investment in audience engagement, leaving the public as a last thought in public projects.

This workshop will give decision makers insights into smart investment and strategies in public engagement that can offer wider impacts on project outcomes.

Other things to learn:
-Comparison of social marketing and three major behavior changes theories and other types of marketing
-A summary of results from Nancy's recent survey of elected officials around the country on social marketing
