Green Series: Jennifer Jacquet on guilt, shame, the environment
Can you harness peoples guilt to effect positive changes for the environment? Jennifer Jacquet, an Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies at New York University, will lead a discussion on the use of shame to promote large-scale political and social reform. Her 2015 book, "Is Shame Necessary? New Uses for an Old Tool", is an intellectually stimulating discussion of shame and its enduring place in the digital age (Kirkus Review)
