Film & Her: A Female Filmmaker Showcase
Film & Her is a public showcase event that screens films created by
women and created locally in Savannah and Atlanta. In 2016, the
Savannah Film & Her showcase exhibited short films for two hours,
received a write up in Connect Savannah, a local arts and
entertainment newspaper and showed Rest of Your Life which
went on to win at the Forbes Under 30 Summit. All films being screened will have been created locally as well as having been created by a female screenwriter, director, producer,
cinematographer, animator and/or editor. Film & Her features local
talented female creators and will continue to do so in the years to
come.
