In her modest 1965 apartment, luxurious gowns, scripts and music everywhere, an exuberant Dorothy is organizing, packing and practicing dances as she gets ready for her Final New Beginning. A beginning that has contracts signed for a line up of shows and starring roles in two films. During this show portraying a Dorothy , on the last full day of her life, you'll see a woman full of direction, hope and with signed contracts for work. Dorothy enacts her life through dramatic monologues, dancing, 7 original songs with the piano accompinament playing throughout to add to the dramatic, funny and informative parts of the production. The production draws the audience back to reality when an unresponsive Dorothy after drifting off to sleep, rises in a dancing floaty, dreamy type movement and voice as she disappears from the stage while singing and dancing the finale.
