About Breaking Bread: This event is part of series by Breaking Bread NYC - a project exposing people to the culture and food associated with the 7 countries named in the recent travel ban. Breaking Bread NYC aims to show strength and solidarity to the people and businesses from those 7 countries.
Breaking Bread NYC is a project from food tour guides and food lovers aimed at connecting communities through cuisine. We organize dinners, tours, campaigns, and programs to support our neighbors in times of need. It is always easier to understand the unfamiliar when you sit down and break bread together.
This event co-organized by Salvy Muhammad and Jeff Orlick
