Breaking Bread Dallas
Due to overwhelming demand, we have added an 8pm dinner.

Breaking Bread comes to Dallas, Texas for a meal introducing you to the foods of Iraq, hosted by owner Fuad and employees from Sudan. Through food we learn and communicate, familiarizing ourselves with a new community of our neighbors.

MENU:
Iraqi bread and zaatar dip, beef shwarma, chicken shwarma,Iraqi kabab, falafel, cucumber yogurt, eggplant salad, tabouleh, Iraqi pickles, hummus, traditional tea, and fresh baklava.
Vegetarian substitutions not a problem

PRICE:
$20 covers meal, tax and tip with any further proceeds going to Albilad's own "Free Meal for the Poor" initiative.

Hosted by Fuad and friends at AlBilad. AlBilad has been around for only five years, establishing itself as one of the neighborhood leaders as an Iraqi bakery, grocery, and restaurant.

About Breaking Bread:
This event is part of series by Breaking Bread NYC - a project exposing people to the culture and food associated with the 7 countries named in the recent travel ban. Breaking Bread NYC aims to show strength and solidarity to the people and businesses from those 7 countries.

Breaking Bread NYC is a project from food tour guides and food lovers aimed at connecting communities through cuisine. We organize dinners, tours, campaigns, and programs to support our neighbors in times of need. It is always easier to understand the unfamiliar when you sit down and break bread together.

This event co-organized by Salvy Muhammad and Jeff Orlick
