Event
Soul Endeavor II, Set 2
Day y Two, Set 2: Diverse brief recitals featuring a wide range of Center music students performing solo and in small ensembles. Musical works can range from bebop and jazz classics to piano compositions of the baroque, classical or romantic periods, rare Mexican regional trio music with violin, jarana, and huapanguera to rock ballads and vocal Opera standards. It is an especially inspiring opportunity for children to see other youth across a spectrum of experience, and age levels, and perhaps find an instrument and style that calls to them. This is a FREE event! NOTE FOR PARENTS OF STUDENTS: Pieces prepared for performance can range from less than a couple of minutes to longer format based on pedagogical requirements. You and students may ask the appropriate private teacher as to what types of performance to expect for each.
