Q1Go Presents: The Laramie Project (Staged Reading)
Q1Go Productions presents a staged reading of The Laramie Project by Moises Kaufman & members of the Tectonic Theatre Project.
Lovingly referred to as our Laramie 2.0, we will be remounting our production as a reading in partnership with the Speaking Volumes: Transforming Hate exhibition through the Lincoln Center, The Fort Collins Museum of Art, and Bas Bleu Theatre Company. All ticket sales profit will be donated to The Matthew Shepard Foundation and the Q1Go Summer Scholarship fund.
This production is directed by Q1Go artistic director Christina Roberts and features 16 talented young performers and musicians and the original music of local composer, Adam White. The reading will be performed with minimal staging.
The Laramie Project is a collection of short theatrical vignettes detailing life in Laramie, WY following the death of Matthew Shepard, who was the victim of a hate crime in 1998.
The Bas Bleu Theatre is located at 401 Pine St. Fort Collins.
Thank you for supporting the arts in our community!
