New Music Circle presents Caboladies
Through a variety of analog and digital synthesis, Midwest sound sculptors Caboladies create a mass of detailed electronic sound. The duo, made of up of members Eric Lanham and Chris Bush, casts spells of elegant, shimmering time altering drones and interior sounds.
Holding a consistent place in the current underground experimental scene, and releasing four LP records of material in the past several years, as well as solo albums for labels such as Mego affiliate Spectrum Spools, Caboladies' multifaceted approach pulls influences ranging from footnotes of German "Kosmiche Musik" to obscure electronic-music pioneers, and shares a vision with contemporaries such as Emeralds and Onehtrix Point Never.
