Beyond Booch: Fermented Probiotic Beverages Workshop
You've got your home kombucha game down. Did you know that there are dozens of other probiotic fermented beverages out there? In this workshop, we explore some of them. We will:
- DISCUSS fermented beverages such as ginger soda, water kefir, and the vegetable tonics known as "kvass"
- SHOW you techniques for crafting mildly alcoholic, but still probiotic brews
- TASTE various probiotic beverages LIKE water kefir, kvass, and mildly alcoholic beverages
- MAKE your own batch of water kefir in a swing-top bottle
- TAKE HOME your own Water Kefir Grains (SCOBY)
