Experience The Bahamas's cuisine and culture on a 3-hour cooking class shore excursion, and sample the iconic flavors of this scenic port of call.
COOK - EAT - PARTY -....REPEAT
Join 2 local chefs while using fresh local produce, tropical fruits and freshly caught fish to prepare a seasonal menu, and learn the stories behind the islands most beloved dishes. Share a sumptuous meal with a glass of rum punch, then linger over fresh fruit and dessert before returning to port.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT***
Meet your guide at the Freeport Cruise Terminal
before traveling by bus to the site of your cooking class. During the 20-minute drive, admire views the lush, colorful landscape out the window.
When you arrive, meet your chefs, who will introduce you to the herbs and fresh organic produce that will go into your dishes. Then take your place in the kitchen and begin your cooking lesson! Create traditional Caribbean dishes such as Stewed Creole fish, rice and peas in coconut milk, and fresh garden salad and learn a bit about their significance in Bahamian culture. Then enjoy a little time to stroll around the property and sip a drink by the pool.
Finish your experience by sitting down to dine on your creations, accompanied by dessert, fruit and rum punch. Your class ends with the drive back to the Cruise Port.
