Join us for an exclusive preview of The Contact: Quilts of the Sierra Nevada by Ann Johnston. Mix and mingle with artists, special guests, and collectors while you enjoy blues & roots by KEXP DJ Greg Vandy and treats from 314 Pie. Also on view are the magnetizing exhibitions Electric Coffin: The Future Machine and Divine Ammunition: The Sculpture of Al Farrow.

Complimentary tickets are extended to you and a guest. Please RSVP by February 20, 2017. Tickets are also available for purchase at previewcontact.brownpapertickets.com if you would like to attend with any additional guests.

The Contact features over 30 of Ann Johnston's large-scale quilts inspired by the California Sierra Nevada range. Johnston's quiltsmade from cloth that the artist has dyed herselfmake use of patterns and textures to create literal, abstract, and sometimes completely imaginative representations of the area.
