An Evening with Edgar Allen Poe at the Woodlands
Literary historian and playwright Rob Velella will bring the work of Edgar Allan Poe to life. Velella specializes in 19th century American literature and in his ongoing efforts to bring the writers of yesterday back to the readers of today, will demonstrate some of Poe's most loved works.
The Woodlands Historic Mansion, Landscape and Cemetery offers a unique setting to experience Poe's literary legend. Take the opportunity to visit his contemporary, Timothy Shay Arthur, at his eternal resting spot. Also a writer, Arthur was a fellow member of the literary coterie Seven Stars.
