The members of Music Box West are connected through their involvement in the Brazilian Choro scene, with each member belonging to a well-known group
(Grupo Falso Baiano, Berkeley Choro Ensemble, Choro Bastardo, Rio Con Brio).
The quartet blends virtuosic, lyrical musicianship with a broad palette of traditional music from around the world, all set against a solid rock of danceable grooves. From choro to flamenco, blues to bolero, Music Box West has a sound like no other.
