Singer/Storyteller Randy Rutherford in "The Water is Wide"
Randy is caught between two women. Sophie thinks a vegan diet may cure Randy's hearing loss. Roxanne prefers fried baloney sandwiches, and she's insanely jealous...and she's not real.
Like a hippie Garrison Keillor, Randy Rutherford is a fuzzy blanket of a performer who warms the heart.
Veteran performer Rutherford draws on his folk singing past to infuse his one-man shows with music to go with his stories. He is an accomplished musician, whose music has been described as "defiantly deft finger-picking" and "the kind of music that makes your hair stand up".
