The evening kicks off at 8:00 with The Brighton Beat, "A positive Afrobeat force, bringing fresh world music to NYC/Boston and beyond. The Brighton Beat's inspired rhythms and powerful horn section keeps the crowd dancing and engaged in an intimate and creative atmosphere. The band promotes a vibrant image, focused on making intelligent instrumental music that is enjoyable and accessible to anyone." Then at 9:30 Esthema, the band that has been hailed by Joel Simches of the Noise Magazine as "A true celebration of a number of different styles of world beat, jazz, rock, ethnic European and Middle Eastern traditional music" takes the stage. Then at 11PM The People's Party bringing their brand of rock, funk, hip-hop, jazz and folk, aka "hippie hop" to the Ville take the stage!
Tickets are $10.00 at the door ($7.00 with a student ID) Tickets purchased on-line are $8.00 plus fees (total: $9.27).
