The Mutiny Theatre Project Presents "Much Ado About Nothing"
The Mutiny Theater Project is proud to present William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing: A New Adaptation for 6 Actors, directed and adapted by Logan G Serabian. This production places an exciting new twist on the beloved classic. The story follows young lovers Hero and Claudio as they try to bring about the end of a "merry war" between lifelong bachelors Benedick and Beatrice. But disaster strikes when the villainous Don John intervenes! This is Shakespeare at its best. Passionate love affairs, backyard brawls, and rollicking comedy all in one exciting production. This six--person adaptation is specially designed to be a fast-paced, high energy, slapstick rollercoaster that doesn't stop from beginning to end. Much Ado About Nothing: A New Adaptation for 6 Actors will be performed Friday January 27 and Saturday January 28 at 7 pm and Sunday January 29 at 2 pm. Performances will be held at AS220, located at 95 Empire Street in Providence RI. Tickets are $15. Mutiny Theatre Project is a new theatre company made up of local young actors, directors, and playwrights looking to make their mark on the Rhode Island theatre scene. It is our aim to produce exciting and engaging works for audiences young and old. We aim to create a strong variety of modern and classic work, as we believe that theatre is an art form that is rooted in its tradition, but that still has room to grow in the future.
