CELEBRATE EVOLUTION! - Michael Dowd
The Reverend MICHAEL DOWD is one of the more inspiring speakers in America today. A long-time student of
Practical Christianity and Science of Mind and Heart, he has been called "America's Evolutionary Evangelist."
Michael's book, Thank God for Evolution, has been endorsed by 6 Nobel Prizewinning scientists and by religious leaders across the spectrum. His hopeful, bridgebuilding ministry has been featured in The New York Times,LA Times, Washington Post, and Discover Magazine, and he has appeared on national television.
At home in both liberal and conservative settings, Rev. Dowd is committed to enthusiastically sharing the great news of what God has been up to for billions of years, and also to sharing a realistically hopeful vision of the future that effectively motivates people to be of service to the future, to the glory of God. His 2008 book, Thank God for Evolution has been endorsed by 6 Nobel laureates and by science and religion leaders across the theological spectrum.
Rev. Dowd will present a richly illustrated talk on Sunday afternoon, November 18, 2012, from 1 to 3 p.m.at the Castle Rock Recreation Center, 2301 Woodlands Blvd., Castle Rock CO 80104.
Since April 2002, Michael and his wife (popular science writer Connie Barlow) have lived entirely on the road,providing Sunday services and workshops at more than
1,600 churches and other organizations across North America.
Michael and Connie support their itinerant educationalministry mostly by selling their books and professionally produced DVDs of their best and most popular programs.
