Master Class With Susan Messing
Workshop Description:
25 years after its inception, The Annoyance Theater and it's signature brash, uncensored, wickedly intelligent & grounded style of play are a landmark in Chicago improv. Their flagship show, Coed Prison Sluts, was created from improvisation. It ran for 11 years, the longest running musical in the history of Chicago.
Susan Messing, a mainstay of Second City and The Annoyance, is here to provide you with a crash course in the Annoyance Theatre style of play.
Learn to make powerful choices and experience the freedom and joy that sometimes goes missing in improv. The Annoyance Theatre has been teaching hundreds of improvisers for 25 years to get out of their heads and improvise with fearless abandon. If there is a punk rock of improv, this is it.
