LIGHT/SHADOW with Ben Verdery
Benjamin Verdery enjoys an innovative and eclectic musical career and has been described as "iconoclastic" and "inventive" by The New York Times and "one of the classical guitar world's most foremost personalities," by Classical Guitar Magazine. John Kaizan Neptune brings to the shakuhachi (traditional Japanese flute) a new and dynamic sound and feeling entirely his own. Yumi Kurosawa is an innovative musician who was born and raised in Japan and began studying the 13-string Koto at age three, and now lives in New York City where she composes and collaborates with musicians from different traditions.
