The Hunting Party
Marc A. Moir, the award winning playwright of Padre X, brings the real life mystery of Agatha Christie to the stage.
In December of 1926 the life of one of history's greatest mystery writers was shattered. Agatha Christie was informed by her husband that he was leaving her for another woman. On Friday, December 3rd, Christie went upstairs at the family's house in Sunningdale, Berkshire. She kissed her seven year old daughter Rosalind goodnight. She left a letter for her secretary saying she was leaving for Yorkshire for the weekend. At 9:45 pm she got into her car and drove away across the Surrey Downs and disappeared for 11 days.
This exciting new production takes Agatha Christie and places her in the middle of one of her own country house style murder mysteries: A mystery with a conclusion so shocking that it will keep you guessing right to the end.
The all star Winnipeg cast includes: Harry Nelkin, John Bluethner, Jon Ted Wynne, Ron Robinson, Marc A. Moir, Laura Moir, Shane Hartry, Scot Moir, Shannon Loewen, Garry Moir, Agatha Moir and Rhiannon Benedict as Agatha Christie.
