Dance For Syria
Solidarity with the People of Syria (www.cispos.org), Friends for a NonViolent World, Minnesotans for Syrian Refugees, and Flamenco dancer Sachiko "La ChayĆ" (www.sachikolachayi.com) will hold a benefit at Phoenix Theater in which dancers and choreographers from diverse dance styles across the Twin Cities will join together to fundraise for refugee medical care. 100% of proceeds collected will go to the Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS, https://www.sams-usa.net/), a non-profit, non-partisan, medical relief organization. In 2015, SAMS served more than two and a half million Syrians. Come celebrate the diversity of dance in our community and support this humanitarian effort.
