Tief in den Schweizer Alpen liegt ein Dorf, das ganz unter Wasser vergraben ist. Es gibt Gerüchte, dass in der Gegend eine ganz besondere Energie herrsche. Die Legende besagt, wer Marmorera betritt, tritt mit Wesen aus der Geisterwelt in Kontakt welche ihm eine alternative Realität offenbaren. Niemand kam jemals als die selbe Person zurück als welche sie Marmorera betreten hat. Traust du dich, oder bist du zu SHY?
Was ist SHY?
Früher unter manch anderem Namen bekannt, ist SHY die 9. Episode unseres Abenteuers im Schnee. Dies ist eine jährliche Zusammenkunft offener Menschen, welche irgendwie durch die Burner Kultur und das Nowhere Festival miteinander verbunden sind. Obwohl wir kein offizieller Burning Man event sind, sind wir stark durch die Burner Kultur und deren 10 Prinzipien geprägt.
Dies ist ein Mitmach Event. Der ganze Inhalt kommt vom Publikum, das bist DU! Keine Zuschauer! Wir sind alle MEISTER! Das heisst auch Sorge tragen, zu dir, deinen Mitmenschen und der Umwelt. Jeder von uns ist ein Teil dieses Erlebnisses.
Unser Ziel ist es gemeinsam ein Winter- Wunderland der ganz speziellen Art zu kreieren. Es hat viel Platz für Kunst und Bauten auf dem Feld und im Haus. Am Liebsten hätten wir ganz viel Feuer, also helft mit viel brennende Kunst zu bauen. und ganz viele Unterschlüpfe aller Art, Iglus, Jurten, leuchtende Doms, oder vielleicht eine heisse Sauna? Deep in the snowy alps lays a village completely submerged under a frosty mountain lake. Legend has it that the surroundings of that lake bare a rather peculiar energy. It is said that who enters Marmorera comes in contact with the spirit world and learns about an alternate reality. Nobody every came back the same way. Some say they found enlightenment, others that they've gone completely insane. Will you embark on this adventure, or are you too SHY?
What is SHY?
Previously carrying many other name SHY is a yearly (or so) get together of open minded people that are somehow connected through, or interested in, Burning Man and its regional sister events such as Nowhere. Although SHY is not an official Burning Man event, it remains true to the famous 10 principles. SHY is about coming together and celebrating connections. It's about friendship, art and inspiration.
This will be the 9th episode of our adventure in the snow. We're aiming to build a little Winter Wonderland in and around a house in the beautiful Swiss Alps. You are invited to join in, to get active in true burner spirit and come up with inventive solutions to help us create a little village of our own with warm places and hot spots for everyone to share. You'll have lots of space to create warmth and comfort on the field. Help us build igloos or other kinds of shelter, or bring along your yurts, tepees or sweat lodges. Wir sind alle MEISTER!
We operate on one principle only, we call it the Meister Prinzip. We are each fully responsible for what's going on in our proximity, to create the best experience for ourselves and everyone. All content is provided by the participants, everyone needs a ticket and is expected to contribute to the experience. That also means that we take care of one another and our surroundings. If we see someone who needs help, we offer it, if we see some trash on the floor (or as we like to call it, MOOP) we pick it up, if we see something that needs to get done, we do it. We all run this event together and it is the responsibility of every single one of us to make it the best we can. This is a completely volunteer run event, and we all take responsibility for its content. If you want content, help us provide it. We want to create a safe space for everyone to enjoy, fully be themselves, and to be free to experiment. This means we need to respect one another and seek consent if we want to include someone in our experience; be that a photo, a touch, a hug, or anything else. Don't be SHY!
