The Heronswood Hellebore Plant Sale will be taking place this same day from 11am-3pm. You and your Sweetheart can stroll the garden and take in the Plant Sale before the lecture.
About the Lecture: "Including Gorgeous Roses in Your Garden" By using garden design principles, it's easy to illustrate how to successfully use various types of roses in mixed beds as well as in formal designs. Mouth-watering photographic examples of disease-free roses that are a delight for the senses will be highlighted along with ideas for beautiful companion plants.
About the Author: NITA-JO ROUNTREE is a Seattle-based garden designer and educator. She has developed numerous programs and lectures, is the past president of the Northwest Horticultural Society, and she currently serves on Bellevue Botanical Garden Board of Directors as lecture chair and on the Heronswood Garden Steering Committee.
