Bus Trip to Washington, DC
Bus from Community Church of Chapel Hill UU to Washington DC January 21.     We will meet at the church at 4:30 am and leave at 5 am.   We will return by midnight.     We will join the Women's March on Washington.

Q&A

Question: What time will we get to Washington, and where will the bus drop us? Where do we meet the bus for the return trip?
Answer: Here is the best info I have about those questions: We anticipate arriving in DC between 9 and 10 am, depending on traffic. The March begins at the corner of Independence and Third St NW, near the US Capitol. However, the march route and end point are not being released, for security reasons. I have also asked with the bus registration, where the busses will drop us off, where they will park and how far it is from the end of the march to where the busses are. Anyone going with us on the march would best not plan any additional or alternative activities, but rather, to stay with us as best they can, so as to be at the return site in a timely way, and also for security and safety reasons--we want everyone with us to stay on the March route, where there will be police protection and security precautions in place.
