Sol Stitium :: The Darkest Night
A sun stands still Then entertaining a miracle, rises The witness counts as time herself dissolves Seasons change hearts and leaves Will you find meaning in this rebirthing fiction Or illumination In this constant frame of reference
Zepto Space and The Longhouse Trust invite you to explore the myths of the solstice with an evening of drama, contemplation, and connection. The Longhouse offers a platform for existential learning -- the kind of learning that enables truth to actually claim hold in our lives in-person, in-action, in direct connection with each other.
When is a myth no longer a myth? Maybe when it's seen as a truth rather than a beautiful, meaningful mythological history lesson. Throughout time we have told stories to explain the ineffable and to propagate values, beliefs and ideas. Over and over these stories are re-told, re-mixed and re-interpreted. Now it is our turn to weave the tales that may guide us into the future.
This experience will be interactive, and partially outdoors -- please bring warm boots, gloves, and hats because this is an adventure. We are all participatory spectators in this sacred drama.
A modest $11 will grant you entry, with the option to contribute more based on your perspective of value post-experience.
Only 66 tickets will be made available. Move quickly to reserve your spot!
