Advent Retreat facilitated by Fr. Cyprian Consiglio
On Saturday December 3, 2016 from 10 am to 4 pm Father Cyprian Consiglio, OSB Cam, teacher, musician, and Prior of New Camaldoli Monastery in Big Sur, CA, will present an inspiring day of prayer entitled, A Contemplative Approach to Advent. This special day will be held at the San Damiano Retreat Center and will include Christian meditation, music and prayer.
This day is co-sponsored by The Hesed Community and the World Community for Christian Meditation (WCCM) both of which promote the teaching and practice of Christian Meditation according to the tradition of John Main, OSB. This tradition dates back to the early Christian desert fathers and mothers with the focus on silence, stillness and simplicity.
