Controlled Burn by Lojo Simon
Claires house burns down in a California wildfire, setting off a series of events that forces her to face parts of her life that she has been denying for too long, including her husbands infidelity and her mothers illness. A contemporary, small-cast comedic drama, Controlled Burn is a play about dying and living and how we find our way through both.
Controlled Burn was workshopped in the University of Idaho MFA program in 2012, at Montana Reps Missoula Colony in 2014, and in Peoria, Arizonas TheaterWorks WESTival in 2015.
The show runs December 1st-10th , 2016. Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays at 7:30pm.
