2016 WSU Extension Wheat Academy
The WSU Extension Wheat Academy is a two-day workshop for grain growers and industry members around Eastern Washington that will include interactive classes on wheat-related issues. Participants will be able to select a total of 7 classes over the two days.
The event will be Tuesday, Dec. 13 from 8 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. and Wednesday, Dec. 14 from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The registration fee covers two lunches, a catered social hour, refreshments, on-campus parking, and all printed materials.
Everyone will get a tour of the $15 million Washington Grains Plant Growth Facility built in 2015 with funds from WSU, the USDA, and the Washington Grain Commission.
We will be applying for Washington and Idaho Pesticide Recertification and CCA credits.
There are only 75 spots open, so register as far in advance as possible. Because space is limited, we ask that each company restrict their registrations to no more than 10 employees.
For more information visit smallgrains.wsu.edu or email small.grains@wsu.edu.
NOTE: Let us know if you would like us to mail you a parking pass for the event. If so, email small.grains@wsu.edu with your information. If we mail your parking pass you forget it, you will need to purchase a day pass.
