LISA KISCH & DALE MILLER WITH JOHN PUGH
Lisa Kisch is thrilled to be sharing the stage with two wonderful gentlemen this evening! After 20 years in the business, her favourite role is "Mama" to Audrey, 10 and Lily, 8, and "Wife" to Quillan. However, if pressed, her favourite stage credits include: Miss Stacy, Anne of Green Gables (Charlottetown Festival), The Baker's Wife, "Into the Woods" (DaCapo), Marian, "The Music Man" (Gananoque), Hope, "Anything Goes" (Drayton), Ensemble Swing in both Sound of Music (Mirvish) and the 1st National Tour of Beauty and Beast (BV Theatrical), and u/s Sophie/Lisa in the original Toronto company/National Tour of Mamma Mia (Mirvish). Lisa performs tonight in memory of her biggest fan, her mother, Lorraine.
Dale is one of Toronto's most sought after vocalists and has both his Bachelor of Music (Voice) and his Bachelor of Music Education from Acadia University. Selected credits include James and the Giant Peach (YPT - assistant director, assistant musical director, actor), Falstaff (COC, Dora Award Winner, Best Ensemble), Deadmouse: The Musical (Toronto Fringe - director), Annie (YPT), Seussical the Musical (YPT/ The Citadel), Anne of Green Gables (Theatre Calgary), Knickerbocker Holiday (TOT), Les Misérables (1000 Islands Playhouse), The Giant's Garden (Toronto Fringe), Victor/Victoria, Forever Plaid (Stage West Calgary), The Handmaid's Tale (COC), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Mayfield), Plaid Tidings (Centre in Vancouver), Evita (MTC/Theatre Calgary), Cats, Jesus Christ Superstar, Gypsy, Cabaret (Neptune Theatre). Dale made his New York and off-Broadway debut starring as Henry in the musical Living With Henry at the New York Musical Theatre Festival in 2012 and sang backup for Josh Groban at the ACC in 2013. He recently appeared in an episode of Dark Matter on the SyFy network and will be seen in Reign on the CW this fall. Dale was the featured soloist at MCCT's Christmas Eve service at Roy Thomson Hall and performed with Rick Mercer at a recent MCCT fundraiser. Dale was proud to produce and presented his first play Shed at the Box Theatre in Toronto and thanks John for this opportunity.
John Pugh is a Musical Director, keyboardist, arranger/orchestrator from the Greater Toronto Area with over 17 years of experience in the performing arts. With a wide variety of knowledge in many different styles of music, John has had the opportunity to play with some of the best musicians the GTA has to offer. While the theatre is Johns first passion, he has also been very involved as a freelance pianist playing for cabarets, weddings, and private/corporate events. Some of his favourite MD/keyboard credits include: Jesus Christ Superstar, The Secret Garden, Youre A Good Man Charlie Brown, Rocky Horror Show, and RENT. He would like to thank David and the 120 Diner for this opportunity to share the stage with so many talented people.
