3rd Annual Celebrating Recovery Education Event
The Mental Health Association of Minnesota presents the 3rd Annual Celebrating Recovery mental health and wellness education event. This event is open to individuals, family members, providers, and community members. We will provide information about overall health and wellness for people living with mental illnesses and an overview of the Minnesota 10 by 10 initiative, which aims to increase the life expectancy of people living with mental illnesses by 10 years in the next 10 years. At the event we will also unveil MHAM's newest wellness tool, the Take Charge booklet. This booklet helps people incorporate simple but important changes in their daily lives that can contribute to improving a person's health and well-being. The booklets address sleep habits, diet, exercise, stress reduction, and goal-setting.
