After a wildly successful first round of classes, The Class of Tease returns this December!

The first three weeks of class will focus on discovering the HERstory of burlesque, an introduction to act development and costuming. After a two-week break for the winter holidays, students will return to peer review their solo work and learn a classic burlesque striptease to perform live on stage Saturday, February 11.

The class will take place every Friday beginning December 2 from 6pm-8pm at Tammy's Edge Salon in Old Town, Albuquerque

Because this is a performance-based workshop, students are expected to attend every session, arrive on time, complete assignments and commit to fully participating in this experience. Students missing more than 1 class without notice may be asked to forfeit the February performance opportunity.

Participants are responsible for paying for all costuming and associated expenses. A list of supplies will be provided prior to the start of the session. No refunds will be issued after December 2, 2016

If you are a current/aspiring performer who wishes to enroll in this workshop and NOT perform in February, please email joycoyabq@gmail.com for accommodations. Additionally, a non-performance track will be offered in classes during the Spring and Summer 2017. Although solo act development will be explored, this does not guarantee students will have a completed solo by the end of the workshop or that any works will be booked by Joy Coy, Unicorn Productions, or any other production entity.
