Fundraising, as many of you know, is all about the long game - the relationships you build that grow deeper every year if approached thoughtfully, strategically, and creatively. But how do we do that? Especially when it's one of a million things on our to-do list? By narrowing in on the right strategies based on our unique assets.
In this hands-on participatory workshop - we're going to work on identifying the right strategy for YOU. If you are already fundraising from individuals or have already taken GR 101 (or the GiveBIG Fundraising training provided through the Seattle Foundation) and want to take it to the next level - this workshop is for YOU. Dinner will be provided!
Trainers: Kristyn Joy, a phenomenal grassroots fundraiser with 25 years of community organizing and non-profit management, and NAC's Executive Director, Sarah Tran.
One Ticket per organization (Up to 2 individuals per nonprofit organization may attend the training)
As an added value, NAC will be offering eight (8) free 45-minute fundraising consultations available on a first-come, first-served basis (one consultation per nonprofit organization. Consultations will be scheduled based on the participant's and NAC staff availability.)
*Scholarships: 2 scholarships are available to organizations with budgets under $100,000. Priority goes to grassroots, people of color-led nonprofits. To apply - please email Sarah Tran at stran@nacseattle.org. Interested applicants must contact NAC by Friday, Sept 23rd!
**Note: NAC's revised fee structure takes into account the varying levels of financial capacity at different organizations and helps to support local community-based nonprofits and organizations with much smaller budgets and limited access to growth opportunities.
