Slow Meat 2016
Join us at Red Eye for a fun, educational meeting about Slow Meat! We will have farmers from Ninepatch, Lonely Oak and NewGrass Farms on hand to tell us a little bit about what they do, why they do it, and how we as cooks can get the most bang for our buck when we buy meat that has been raised in a responsible manner.
We will also get to enjoy the cooking of Chef Nate at Red Eye, who will prepare appetizers and dinner using Slow Meat and produce from other local farms. Plenty of time for socializing, as well! We hope you will join us!
6:00 pm - 6:30 pm: Check-in. Cash Bar available
6:30 pm: Demonstrations begin - Learn all about beef, pork, and lamb cuts! Appetizers and Cash Bar available
7:30 pm: Enjoy a buffet dinner prepared by Chef Nate using locally-sourced and seasonal ingredients. Cash Bar available.
