The Dark Ride Radio Hour
The Roustabout Theatre Troupe would like to take you on a Dark Ride this Halloween...For one night only, come to Livonia's Trinity House Theatre for a special performance of Joseph Zettelmaier's award-winning radio shows...with a horrifying twist!
The Dark Ride Radio Hour will be an old-timey radio show, including readings of four horror radio scripts with live Foley sound effects, music accompaniment, and an emcee host tying the evening together in the style of golden-era radio shows.
These short yet spooky scripts have been performed as part of the WildClaw Theatre's DeathScribe event in Chicago over the past few years, but this will be the first time they will be performed in Michigan, and all together in one haunting night! Each script is about 10-15 minutes in length, so together with an intermission they will make a full evening of entertainment.
Come in costume, enjoy the live pre-show music, tune your radios, and get ready to be transported on this dark ride.
Please Note: The Trinity House Theatre does not have ramp access - some stairs are necessary to get inside the building as well as to the seating area.
