Basic Livestock Slaughter Techniques and Equipment
Come take a peek behind the industry's guarded curtain! Join us for a two hour presentation & discussion as we explore the part of the meat industry that has been removed from most peoples lives . Slaughter is inherently part of our daily consumption of meat; in this workshop we will discuss specifics regarding beef, hogs, lamb, goat and cover basic equipment and techniques. ***This is not intended to be a discussion on ethics of slaughter. We are willing to host a workshop to discuss humane issues involved with slaughter in the future***
