Alvon Johnson "Jazz Meets The Blues"
Alvon Johnson is one of the most versatile musicians/singers/entertainers on the music scene today!. He's sung with big bands, was a vocalist with Rock & Roll Hall of Fame group "The Coasters", has won or been nominated for too many awards to list, including being voted 2005 Blues Guitar Players of the Year. He has performed internationally and in Russia he is referred to as the "Ambassador of the Blues". Come check him out!
Come early at 7PM to enjoy our Youth Musicians in the reception area, this concert will feature Paul Adan on piano.
Concert benefits the Generations in Jazz Foundation Youth Program and San Ramon Library Jazz Collection.
