Bethany Grogan
Development Coordinator for the University Development Team, Clemson University
In addition to her many responsibilities as a member of the University Development Team, Bethany is the internship guru! She determines the annual needs for interns and conducts the internship program from writing position descriptions, through marketing and selection, to onboarding/training and overall supervision of the interns. Bethany holds an undergraduate Political Science degree from Newberry College; a Masters in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Clemson University; and is currently working on her Doctorate in Educational Leadership.
Jan Kehm
Program Director Administrative Office Technology Programs, Spartanburg Community College
Within the AOTs program requirements, students participate in a series of internship and cooperative work experience assignments which provide them with real-time, hands-on experience while also increasing the relevancy and effectiveness of the AOT program. Jan matches students with these work experiences and coaches them through to success. Jan holds a Bachelors in Journalism from USC; a Masters in Computer Resource Management from Webster University; and is currently working on her Doctorate in Business Administration.
Christine Pineros
Volunteer and YES! Program Coordinator, The Childrens Museum of the Upstate
Christine works with the Museums multi-department internship program, as well as their adult volunteers and middle- and high-school volunteers as they all generously share their time and talent to accomplish TCMUs mission of sparking a lifelong passion for learning through play. Christine is a Clemson University graduate with a BA in History with an emphasis in Public History.
Savannah Ray
Outreach Manager, Girl Scouts of South Carolina Mountains to Midlands, Inc.
Savannah coordinates Girl Scout leadership experiences for girls in nontraditional troops, underserved areas and Hispanic communities, supervising programming for over 1,650 girls annually throughout the Upstate and Midlands. Through a slightly unconventional route, Savannah landed an internship during college which eventually led to permanent employment with the organization. She holds a BA in Communication Studies from Furman University and the Master of Public Administration from the University of Georgia.
Logan Patrick
Corporate Gifts Officer, Meals on Wheels Greenville
Logan has worked with MOWs successful development internship program. His teams annually raise around $450,000 through their signature events. During college, Logans work-study position (considered a paid internship by many) as Community Relations Coordinator working on campus fund-raising events and United Way workplace campaigns helped connect him to the Greenville community. A Business Administration graduate from Furman University, Logan is currently working towards his CFRE credential.
