Minneapolis Vintage bus city history and brewery tour with Hennepin History Museum
The Great Northern Railway's historic Jackson Street Roundhouse was once a steam engine maintenance facility and now serves as a museum dedicated to the history of railroading in the Twin Cities and Upper Midwest.
BUT we also own some cool old vintage 1950's transit buses!!!
Join them for this Vintage Bus City History and Brewery Tour, which begins at Hennepin History Museum in SW Mpls, and stops at Boom Island Brewing, Day Block Brewing, and ends back at Hennepin History Museum, for a tour. Led by the Executive Director's of both museums, you will also receive one complimentary family pass to the Minnesota Transportation Museum in St. Paul, located just a few blocks north of the Capitol.
Schedule:
1:00 - 2:00pm - Tour the Hennepin History Museum for free with this ticket
2:00pm departure for city history tour
2:30pm arrive at Boom Island
3:15pm depart from Boom Island for history tour
3:30pm arrive at Stone Arch Bridge for tour (weather permitting)
4:00pm arrive at Day Block
5:00pm depart Day Block and return to Museum around 5:30

In the event of a cancellation, your voucher will be fully refunded. Each voucher is good for 1 person. Must be age 21+ with valid ID to attend.
***Alcohol not included in voucher price; drinks available for an additional cost at each brewery. Breweries operate under a cash bar setup. The deal is valid only for tickets on the date of the event as listed and may not be exchanged or redeemed for any other dates. Purchaser may change the name of the individual retrieving tickets up to 24 hours in advance of event via emailing directly to: director@trainride.org; no name-changes or alternate pick-ups permitted without notice at venue Entire value must be used in a single visit.
