AFP Piedmont, June Luncheon
Cathy Jones, CFRE (AFP Board Member) Director, Womens Philanthropy at the Greenville Health Systems Office of Partnership and Philanthropy, will facilitate a panel on the Importance of Obtaining Your CFRE. The panel consists of a senior CFRE fundraiser, a new CFRE fundraiser, an organization that values the importance of having a CFRE and others to share their viewpoint on the value of getting your CFRE.
Panelists:
Kelly Byers, CFRE Kelly is the Community Engagement Manager at the Family Effect, a philanthropic organization raising funds and recruiting volunteers for programs focusing on children and families at The Phoenix Center of Greenville. She works closely with community donors to ensure they have the best possible experience with the mission of the organization.
Jade Fountain, CFRE Jade has been the Leadership Giving Manager for United Ministries since December 2015. In her current role, she is responsible for the solicitation and stewardship of donors who contribute gifts of $5,000 or more. Working in fundraising in some capacity since 2010, Jade was most recently the Gift Administrator for the Office of Planned Giving at the Medical University of South Carolina. Previously, she served as Campaign Coordinator with The Leukemia and Lymphoma Societys SC Coastal office, and Marketing Assistant with Spoleto Festival USA in addition to various consulting and contracted positions.
Lisa Hemond Lisa is the current Senior Development Director at the Chapman Cultural Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina. She graduated from USC Upstate with a BS in business the same year she celebrated turning 40! She is also a 2014 alumni of Leadership Spartanburg. Lisa serves on the board of Leadership Spartanburg Alumni Association and is currently the VP of Membership for the board of Business Professional Women. She received her CFRE certification in 2015.
Jennifer Parker, CFRE Jenn Parker is the Annual Giving Coordinator at Greenville Health System, where she works with individuals, community groups, and students on giving back their time, talent, and treasure. Jenn graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and she is a member of the 2016 GHS Emerging Leaders program and LeadHer Greenville. She obtained her CFRE in May 2015.
Rich Jones Rich is the Executive Director of FAVOR Greenville. FAVOR is dedicated to organizing the recovery community to put a face and voice on recovery and to provide intervention and recovery support services to those seeking recovery. A senior healthcare and non-profit executive with 15 years of director-level experience, Jones brings skills across multiple domains, including mental health services, substance use disorder treatment, and recovery support services. He has been with FAVOR since 2013.
