Abriendo Puertas Wish Upon A Dream Black and White Gala
The Wish Upon A Dream Black and White Gala is a celebration of the work Abriendo Puertas has achieved in the community and a fundraiser to guarantee that Abriendo Puertas continues to be the solution that addresses the needs of the Latino Community in Wappingers Falls. The evening entails dinner and drinks courtesy of Villa Borghese. Music by DJ Santiago Sanchez who has dedicated much of his time to events benefiting low income Latino communities.
Our vision at Abriendo Puertas/Opening Doors is to advocate for a strong Latino Community to address key issues of sustainability, growth and long-term development faced by the Latino population.
Our mission is to strengthen the whole community by enhancing the healthy integration of under-served families, individuals and youth by offering education and empowerment. We believe that every person is entitled to the opportunity to strive to develop their fullest potential. The program promotes a sense of community to lessen the negative emotional impacts of society as a whole by offering a variety of programs and by presenting bilingual and cross-cultural activities throughout the year.
