VISIONS OF FUTURE SPACES IN FILM With cultural critic Charles Mudede
Sunday, July 22 (5PM) Co-presented by ARCADE
Guest Charles Mudede discusses visions of future architecture and interior spaces in Science Fiction films. Cinema's creations of future environments involve the intersection of many design and filmmaking disciplines. With images and movie scenes from such films as 2001: A Space Odyssey, Blade Runner (celebrating it's 30th anniversary this year), and Gattaca, Mudede will explore how films have reflected, reinterpreted, and rejected our notions of architecture and design to look forward in time.
