Event
Sabercats and Leela (SF Improv Festival 2012)
Leela's resident ensemble "Back Pack" presents a montage of interconnected improvised theatre. Inspired by a single suggestion, the improvisational artists weave personal, political, and universal concepts through slice-of-life scene work and characters. Leela is committed to unearthing the human experience, in all its layers, and revealing that which is to be celebrated and transformed. Company members have performed and trained with: The Second City, Upright Citizen's Brigade, Improv Olympic, and Annoyance Productions, as well as extensive training in traditional theatre, dance/movement, and theatre for social change.
Truth, Integrity, Cleanliness, and Heart, these are the traits of the Sabercats. Hailing from San Francisco, these ferocious felines are here to maul you with a monoscene!
