Woodworking 101: Woodworking and Shop Safety
Do you need to be introduced to power tools-would you like to know more about table saws, drill presses, planers, band saws, drum sanders, and more?
Our class will include live demonstrations of table saw, router table, drill press, and band saw, and this training course will demonstrate how accidents can be significantly reduced by applying and following good general safety rules.
By the end of this short class: You will be able to use the wood shop during our Open Wood Shop Sundays! Also, you will create a small wood project, that gets you a little practice using all the shop tools listed above.
I use my miter saw all the time, and my friends who don't own a lot of tools borrow mine a lot too. Here's a guide to help you figure out which one to buy.
