Bakerloo Theater Project: Henry V
Bakerloo Theater Project will explore the challenges faced by men and women both at war and at home and how these experience shape 'fighting' individuals. The words of Shakespeare and Shaw will be used to examine war, gender roles, and memory all with the contemporary, deeply emotional language of theatre Bakerloo audiences have come to expect.
Henry V, Shakespeare's breathtaking retelling of the life of "the star of England" will be re-retold through the lens of contemporary warfare.
