First Class Conditioning for Dance Monday Evenings 7p.m. to 8 p.m. Get back into your body through dance specific exercises that maximize mind-body conditioning to improve your overall technique and performance abilities. Explore imagery to improve your alignment, coordination and balance while learning to stretch to gain flexibility and strengthening your core.
Second Class Modern Dance Basics Monday Evenings 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. This class is open to movers of all backgrounds who are interested in learning or maintaining a fundamental kinesthetic understanding of modern dance. Students will gain deeper familiarity with their bodies as we learn to move with efficiency while exploring new ways of relating to space, time, and each other.
First Class A total of 4 hrs of instruction for the entire session.
Conditioning for Dance Regular Rate: $52 Student Rate: $48
Second Class A total of 6 hrs of instruction for the entire session.
Modern Dance Basics Regular Rate: $72 Student Rate: $66
First Class & Second Class Combination A total of 10 hrs of instruction for the entire session.
Combo Class Rate: $100 Single Class Drop In: $15

Fabiola Torralba is an interdisciplinary artist and cultural worker. She utilizes movement as a vehicle for community building, creative expression, and social-cultural awareness. She has studied under the guidance of Gretchen Jimenez at the City of San Antonio' Parks and Recreation Program, Erica Wilson-Perkins at Palo Alto College, and has received additional training from the Urban Bush Women and the Liz Lerman Dance Exchange leadership institutes, and Turning the Wheel productions. Her areas of focus include modern dance and community engagement. Currently a member of Jump-Start Performance Company, Fabiola works as an choreographer and teaching artist on independent projects where she continues to explore the intersections between art, story, and action. She will be attending the University of Michigan in the Fall of 2016 to pursue a Dance M.F.A.
