C3? Finding your Fun in the Fun of Others with Kory Mathewson
The best improvisors can work with anyone, or anything, as a scene partner. They are able to find fun in the fun of others. By making the other look great, and accepting and heightening what their partner says the scene develops organically. This workshop combines a focus on scenework and environment with a lens on how to embrace your partner's joy. In your scenes, you will explore your environment in more depth, using narration, object work, soundscape and more. You will develop a variety of tools to create complex improvised characters through contrast, compliment, and convolution. By the end of this class, you should be able to confidently perform on stage with anyone else.
