The California Feetwarmers
Should be on prescription for those who need their spirits lifted! - AmericanRootsUK
This would make any party go with a swing  The Daily Express
When The California Feetwarmers played the swankiest nightclub in Beverly Hills, where Hollywoods A-list go to have themselves some fun, Tom Jones enjoyed the show much he offered some advice.
The Welsh superstar had been taken to The Vibrato Club to mingle with the stars and ended up a confirmed fan of the band, following their killer set of ragtime, blues and early swing. When the legendary singer met the musicians afterwards he told them they were great and should be aiming to play the famous Ronnie Scott's Club in London.
"Just tell them Tom Jones sent you," he said
He wasnt the first big name to fall under their groovy spell.
This is the band that Keb Mo sought out to provide an air of authenticity when he recorded his BluesAmericana album. The collaboration won them a Grammy-nomination in the Best American Roots Performance category.
Last time the band was in the UK, they wowed a capacity crowd at the 1000-capacity Old Fruitmarket during Glasgows Celtic Connections.
Those who were fortunate to get a ticket later reported it had been the biggest party the city had enjoyed since the 1990 City of Culture celebrations!
When Keb Mo grabbed them to provide the right feel for the track that has won them so much attention, he did so as he wanted it to be a joyous thing  a party, he told The Wall Street Journal in a recent interview.
Now couldnt we all do with a bit of that in our lives right now!
