Press Release: Providence, RI. All Hail the Queens. The Queer Queens of Qomedy are coming to Austin, TX to Highland Lounge on July 12th 2016.

July 12th national headliner Poppy Champlin is bringing her highly sought after Queer Queens of Qomedy show to the Highland Lounge.
The Q3 show has been touring for eleven years and comic producer Poppy Champlin is tapping the Highland Lounge as a new territory to conquer. Poppy is bringing two of her lesbian pals and nationally known comics Sandra Valls and Mimi Gonzalez to share the bill Tuesday July 12th at 7:00 PM.
Champlin is a veteran comic with television credits including LOGO, Showtime, HBO, VH-1, Joan Rivers, Oprah, Comedy Central, and more. Mimi has been leading working the circuit for years as well as entertaining the troops in Afghanistan and Iraq. With a Logo Special and Olivia cruises Mimi is one hot Tamale. Sandra is a Texas native from Laredo, and has accomplished much including her Showtime Specials: Latin Divas of Comedy and Pride the Gay and Lesbian Comedy Slam. Curve Magazine has said she is one of the top badass comics to watch out for. Also, the Queer Queens will be donating some of the proceeds to the local Gay and Lesbians Community Center. This show is guaranteed to be a full night of face hurting, stomach wrenching, pain from laughter, fun. Dont miss a minute of it.
