Cersei's Feast

The Guild of Cookery is a group of chefs who use authentic Medieval recipes and techniques to recreate the feasts depicted in 'Game of Thrones.'

The Lannister family is the richest in Westeros. They use their wealth and opulence to display their power. Cersei, the Queen Regent, is perhaps the most extravagant of them all. She wears the finest silks and jewels, drinks from crystal goblets, and her table is laden with the finest foods in the realm. With a curt remark and a wave of her hand, she can have whatever she pleases literally brought to her on a silver platter. She will be the subject of our upcoming feast!

The feast we will be presenting comes from 'A Song of Ice and Fire' book 3, 'A Clash of Kings.' Tyrion sups with Cersei in her solar and they discuss their war with the Starks, Lady Catelyn's reaction to Theon Greyjoy "killing" Bran and Rickon, and what that will mean for Cersei's twin brother, Ser Jaime. When the food is presented, Tyrion remarks that "Cersei set a tasty table, that could not be denied." We absolutely agree!

The menu will be as follows:
- Creamy Chestnut Soup
- Greens Dressed with Apples and Pinenuts
- Eel Pie
- Honeyed Ham
- Buttered Carrots
- White Beans and Bacon
- Roast Goose Stuffed with Oysters and Mushrooms
- Blackberry Tarts

Drinks will be available for sale a la carte and will include beer, wine, mead, and mint tea.
