Elizabethan Music and The Sounds of Hamlet
The Lakeville CT-based, national award-winning music organization Crescendo presents a program with music by English Renaissance composers William Byrd, Thomas Tallis, Orlando Gibbons, Thomas Morley, John Wilbye and others, and the world premiere of a contemporary commission on three Hamlet quotes by Juan Mesa
Crescendo Chorus and soloists Viola da Gamba Consort Directed by Christine Gevert.
A free hour long Pre-Concert Talk is offered on May 7 at 11:30 am at the Mason Library in Great Barrington, MA and at 4 pm at Town Hall (Scoville Library) in Salisbury, CT
This concert will be repeated on May 22 at 4 pm in Lakeville, CT (Trinity Church Lime Rock).
This Concert is a Take Part Culture Card Event of the NWCT Arts Council.
